How long does it take to build a mobile app?
A focused MVP usually takes 6-10 weeks; a feature-rich app with payments, real-time, and an admin backend runs 3-5 months. We ship in weekly sprints with a testable build you can install on your phone the whole way through.
Should I go native or cross-platform?
For most products we recommend Flutter — one codebase, near-native performance on both iOS and Android, and lower cost. When an app needs deep platform features or maximum performance, we build native with Swift/SwiftUI or Kotlin/Jetpack Compose. We'll advise based on your specific needs, not a default.
Do you publish the app to the App Store and Google Play?
Yes — we handle the full submission: store listings, screenshots, app-review compliance, and release. We can publish under your own developer accounts so you retain full ownership of the listings, ratings, and installs.
Does the price include a backend and admin dashboard?
Apps that need accounts, content, or orders include the backend API and an admin dashboard to manage it. We scope this explicitly in the proposal so there are no surprises, and quote it as a fixed price against the agreed feature list.
Who owns the code and the signing keys?
The signing keys and store accounts are yours from the start — we publish under your developer accounts, so the listings, ratings, and installs stay in your name. The code follows the payment path you chose: on the subscription, part of every payment is an ownership instalment and the source code becomes yours after 36 of them; on the three-instalment purchase it is yours on the final payment. Before that point you hold a full usage licence for the app. Continuity is contractual rather than a promise: read-only access to your project's repository, plus a clause that lets you keep the app running, maintained, and updatable on the stores if PhiBit ever ceases to operate.
What about support and app-store updates after launch?
We include a post-launch support window for defects, plus we keep the app compatible with new iOS/Android releases. Ongoing features and OS-update maintenance are available on a monthly retainer.
